The "RNG" is cruel to the point of unfairness. I had three runs end not because of monsters, but because the level generator placed a key item on the other side of a broken bridge with no way around. When you die to a geometry glitch rather than a demon, the "hardcore" tag just feels like lazy development. Sound Design (7/10) The audio is incredible if you have headphones. You can hear the creak of wood straining against the current before a floor collapses. The whispers of drowned souls occasionally give you hints. However, the music is non-existent 90% of the time. It relies on ambient noise, which is spooky for the first two hours and boring for the next ten. Verdict: For Gluttons for Punishment Only Score: 6.5/10 Buy it if: You think Dark Souls is
Codename: Diablo – Torrent is not a game you "enjoy." It is a game you survive . If you think Diablo 4 is too easy and you hate yourself just enough to enjoy losing a legendary axe because you stepped in a puddle, buy this game.
