“It’s a ventriloquist dummy named Mr. Wiggles. The Dean claims it has ‘tenure energy.’ This is season two’s obligatory ‘Dean goes too far’ episode. Structurally, it comes after the chicken fingers mafia but before the claymation Christmas.”

The group realizes the dummy isn’t haunted—Dean Pelton hid a speaker inside it to “test their loyalty.” He appears in the doorway, wearing a matching dummy outfit. Here’s a story titled: "The Politics of Greendale

“Dean… let’s burn the school down.”

Dean Pelton sits alone with Mr. Wiggles. He sips wine.

“It was a social experiment! For the Greendale School of Dummy Arts! Which I just founded! The deanery is now a dummy-ery!” Dean Pelton screams

The dummy speaks in Dean Pelton’s voice: “Why did you take me, Chang? I was going to give you a raise.”

Shirley forms a prayer circle with Troy and Abed to “exorcise the dummy’s wooden soul.” Troy brings a drum. Abed brings a camera.

Meanwhile, Pierce sneaks off to write the letter himself. He composes it in crayon on a napkin: “Mr. Wiggles is a good dummy. He never asks to borrow money. He has strong opinions about immigration. Sincerely, Pierce Hawthorne (age 67 but young at heart).”
