Tap 英語 (which literally means "English language") or the option that says English in Roman letters.

A new window will pop up with a list of languages.
Once inside Settings, look for tabs along the top or left side. You want the one that says システム (System) or 初期設定 (Initial Setup). This is usually the furthest tab to the right. It’s a solid unit with built-in navigation, DVD
