The ET-2720 resetter is useful but temporary. Plan for eventual pad replacement or printer replacement after 2–3 resets.

The Epson ET-2720 uses ink tanks (not cartridges). However, it still has a waste ink pad counter that tracks how much ink has been flushed through the print head during cleaning cycles.
