Ganooll delivers a solid encode of the unrated Director’s Cut, sourced from the 2007/2010 BluRay master. While the transfer shows its age (minor EE and moderate grain), the x264 encode maintains strong detail in shadows and skin textures—critical for a film obsessed with what’s hidden beneath the surface. Bitrate is consistent throughout, even during VFX-heavy invisible transition shots. No DNR overkill, so grain purists won’t wince. Audio is the lossy-but-robust 640kbps AC3 5.1, giving Verhoeven’s booming score and the famous “breathing in an empty room” surround effects proper punch.

A competent, scene‑standard encode of an underrated Verhoeven morality play—now in its gorier, longer form. Grab it while the swarm is healthy.

Here’s a write-up for the release you specified, written in the style of a scene or P2P release notes post. Hollow.Man.2000.Directors.Cut.BluRay.720p.X264-Ganooll

Directed by Paul Verhoeven ( RoboCop, Total Recall, Basic Instinct ), Hollow Man follows egotistical scientist Sebastian Caine (Kevin Bacon) who leads a secret military team to develop a serum capable of rendering living tissue invisible. After successfully testing on animals, Sebastian volunteers for the first human trial. But when the reversal process fails, he remains trapped in an invisible state—and the lack of consequence unleashes his darkest impulses. Elisabeth Shue and Josh Brolin co-star. This Director’s Cut restores more visceral violence and character beats cut from the theatrical release.
