Indian Polity By Laxmikant 7th Edition Fixed Apr 2026

For decades, this book has been the Bible for the Polity section. However, the last few editions (5th and 6th) had a recurring complaint: Aspirants often referred to these versions as "flawed but indispensable."

The publisher (McGraw Hill) seems to have listened to the student feedback. The errors that haunted the 5th and 6th editions have largely been exorcised. If you want one book to take you from Zero to Topper in Polity for Prelims and Mains, the you’ve been waiting for.
