“What,” Benson said slowly, “is that smell? Is that… nacho cheese and existential dread?”

Mordecai grabbed a hockey stick. “The only way to beat an unskippable ad is to out-annoy it!” He started singing the Cheezer’s jingle at full volume, off-key, while doing the worst dance imaginable—a combination of the robot and a dying seagull.

Against every shred of common sense (which was approximately a shred and a half), they plugged the ancient VCR from the break room into the main TV. Finally, the screen glitched one last time. The static cleared. There was the real Benson, arms crossed, looking furious even in pixel form.

“Don’t start,” Mordecai groaned. “Last time you said ‘bored,’ we ended up fighting a 500-foot sentient hot dog in the parking lot of a Cheezer’s.” Mordecai grabbed a hockey stick

“That’s our fake name for packages!” Rigby shouted, scrambling to the door. “What is it?”
