Prison Architect V102.11056 -gog- Apr 2026
Prison Architect , management simulation, procedural rhetoric, prison-industrial complex, Introversion Software, GOG, game preservation, v102.11056. 1. Introduction In 2015, after nearly three years in alpha (a testament to early access done right), Introversion Software released Prison Architect 1.0. By the time version v102.11056 rolled out in late 2018 / early 2019, the game had matured into a finely tuned engine of cause and effect. This particular build, distributed by GOG.com without digital rights management (DRM), offers a stable, complete snapshot of the game prior to Paradox Interactive’s acquisition of the IP and the controversial “Second Chances” and “Going Green” updates that rebalanced core systems.
Version v102.11056 represents the end of an era: the pure Introversion vision. It includes all major pre-Paradox content: Escape Mode (play as a prisoner), Female Incarceration (gender-specific needs and maternity wards), the Warden mode (campaign with persistent characters), and the full story campaign that concludes with a shocking revelation about the player’s role in a larger conspiracy. Prison Architect v102.11056 -GOG-
The logistics overlay—a late addition in v102.11056—allows players to assign specific kitchens to specific canteens and specific laundries to specific cell blocks. Without this, prisoners would wander across the map for a clean uniform. This micro-logistics layer separates competent architects from failing wardens. Prisoners have eleven core needs (Hunger, Bladder, Hygiene, Sleep, Recreation, Family, Safety, etc.). Each need decays or fills over time. The genius of Prison Architect ’s design is that no single solution works. A prisoner with suppressed “Freedom” need might riot if you remove all phone booths; a prisoner with high “Literacy” will become violent if the library is understaffed. By the time version v102
